Something not working?
Use the contact form and you will get a reply from a person. AYRLI is early software and made by a small team in Brisbane, so tell us what you were doing when it went wrong and we will usually be able to see it.
Sessions are not starting on their own
Automatic check-in needs the location permission set to Always, not While Using the App. iOS asks twice and the second dialog is the one people miss — “Allow Once” and “While Using the App” both look reasonable and both stop check-in working, with no error, because nothing failed.
To fix it: iPhone Settings → AYRLI → Location → Always, and leave Precise Location on. A gym is smaller than the accuracy iOS gives you without it.
You can always start a session yourself instead. Nothing in AYRLI depends on the automatic version.
It checked me in at the wrong place
Gyms are stored as a pin and a radius, and a shared building or a badly placed pin will do this. Report it from the club’s page and it gets looked at; if the gym is yours alone, you can move the pin yourself.
Voice logging is not hearing me
The microphone and speech recognition permissions are separate, and the transcription runs on your phone rather than on a server — so it also needs the on-device language files iOS downloads for your region. If the waveform moves but no words appear, that is usually what is missing.
You can type sets instead at any time; the button is on the same screen.
I want my account and data deleted
You can do it yourself, and it happens immediately rather than after a waiting period: You → Account → Delete account. Your sessions, sets, measurements, photos and crew memberships go with it. If you own a crew that still has other members, hand it to one of them first; the app asks you to before it deletes anything, so no crew is left without an owner.
If you would rather we did it, use the contact form from the address on the account.
I did not get an invite code
AYRLI is invite-only for now. Codes come from someone already in a crew — there is no waiting list to join and no code we can issue from here. You can also use the app on your own: “Continue solo” at the invite step skips it entirely, and everything except the crew features works.
Privacy and terms
What the app stores, what it never stores, and who can see it: Privacy. The agreement itself: Terms.
